Ru Yi agrees to meet Li Tong Guang and mentions that Wu is willing to exchange cities for the safe return of their ruler. Li Tong Guang does not give an explicit answer. Instead, he requests Ru Yi to sit down with her eyes closed and for her to keep quiet. Just like what he did in the past, he sat beside Ru Yi's knees and enjoyed the nostalgic feelings he had in the past. Ru Yi is hesitant about acknowledging him when Ning Yuan Zhou pushes the door open and stops Li Tong Guang.
